You can read up on our findings
The first trip to Hunan will be focused on research. The plan is to take multiple samples of water from the water supplies of the locals. After, we'll send the samples to labs to analyze the metal and sediment pollution in the water.
This trip is happened in summer of 2023, and was organized along with IvyMax, one of Project SEE's sponsors.
The second trip is more focused on helping locals have access to clean drinking water. After the first trip, we worked with experts in the field to create solutions for the problems found in the samples of water. Then, those solutions will be implemented in next year's trip to Hunan.

Water in Nepal
Nepal is facing major water problems due to insufficient infrastructure, lack of proper management and climate change. The country is heavily dependent on traditional sources of water such as rivers, springs, and wells, which are being depleted due to overuse and pollution. Droughts and floods have become more frequent in recent years, affecting the availability and quality of water. Many rural areas do not have access to clean drinking water and sanitation facilities. This has resulted in widespread illness and disease, particularly among children. The government is working to address these issues by investing in water management systems and promoting conservation measures. However, much more needs to be done to ensure that all Nepali citizens have access to clean, safe and sufficient water.
